Women informal traders and Covid-19
The second lockdown and impact of the first lockdown caused by COVID-19 affected women street vendors. Today They are suffering miserably from this pandemic because they could only just survive from their daily small business initiatives. In the face of the second lockdown in Kigali city where found many women street vendors, life is very complicated now. , They are now facing many difficulties to live and work. Many have already used any money they have to survive in the first lockdown and this pandemic has completely destroyed their economic capacity. That’s why we are raising funds for them. The objective of this campaign is to raise funds to support women vulnerable street vendors, who are members of SYTRIECI, that have been affected by COVID-19. We want to supply them with food (rice and beans) for this period of Lockdown. Your support will help them to survive in this time when they are at home without any support. We will assist them to get food and help them to feed their families in This period of lockdowns – Elected group leaders in the three districts of Kigali will help identify the most vulnerable by Phones and distribute aid.
